♡ tea baths ♡

Okay, so I just recently upgraded my bed from a twin to a full-sized (which is basically smaller than a queen, but bigger than a twin) and apparently, I've been sleeping on it funny...
Anyways, I've developed these knots in my back and they've been killing me. I'm not joking. There's this one on my right side, right under my shoulder blade and when I breathe it hurts. It shouldn't hurt to breathe. So I decided to take a bath. Because... well... hot water makes things better. Always.

So, i just took my bath and I was inspired to make this post. I mean, I don't have LUSH products everywhere but I do have some simple things that I'm sure that you have in your kitchen.

So... I decided to make this post about tea. I mean, we constantly hear about how good tea is for you... and that's when you drink it! But there's somethings it's good for when it's "surface" treatments, as I like to say.
Here's two teas that I recommend bathing in, because... well... I've already done it. So I'm telling you what I've tried basically LOL.

♡GREEN TEA♡
Green tea is full of antioxidants, is great for open sores and wounds, moisturizes skin and hair, and is a good way to wake up your skin (who knew skin needed waking up... lol). It's even good for reducing swollen under-eye bags that you may wake up with in the morning (that's another post for a different day). Plus, after bathing in the tea you smell so good it's not even funny :)
So green tea bath? Yes please!
Directions: Take 5-6 green tea bags and just put them in the tub as the hot water is filling up (Remember, this is tea we're talking about. We steep tea at near-boiling temperatures... so hot water is a must). Wait for the water to cool down to something bearable and until water should be a dark green/deep brown color. After it meets those requirements, take the tea bags out and enjoy!
♡CHAMOMILE TEA♡
Yes, I know this is just another tea, but come on? Chamomile? Well... it's calming. Especially after a long, stressful day of work/school/working out/dealing with basic people, sometimes all you need is a nice tub of chamomile. I personally like chamomile because it's done wonders for my face. Sometimes, I wash my face with chamomile tea and it makes it so soft, and it reduces the size of pimples. Directions are basically the same as the green tea, but I'll give 'em to ya anyway.
Directions: Take 5-6 chamomile tea bags and just put them in the tub as the hot water is filling upWait for the water to cool down to something bearable and until water should be a hazel - brown color (as shown above). After it meets those requirements, take the tea bags out and enjoy!

I do plan on finding other teas to swim around in, so I'll be sure to post about those as they happen!
